Below are our policies and procedures. Please read them carefully. As our guest, by reading and signing your registration card upon check-in you are agreeing to abide by our policies. We look forward to seeing you and will do everything to make your visit a memorable one.
The White Birch Inn Policies:
Guests will be required to pay the first-night deposit upon making a reservation. This deposit is fully refundable, minus a $25 cancellation fee, until 14 days prior to your planned arrival. If cancellation is made within 14 days of the reservation date your deposit will be forfeited.
We are a small 6 room inn where every guest reservation is both important and special to us. We do not overbook in anticipation of cancellations like many large hotels. Most of our guests reserve several weeks in advance. This means if you cancel your reservation and we have less than 14 days to rebook your room, the likelihood of rebooking it is very slim. If your travel plans change and you must cancel or shorten your stay, please notify us at least fourteen (14) days prior to your arrival date.
In the unfortunate event that you must cancel less than fourteen (14) days prior to arrival, your deposit is non-refundable. If you have to shorten your stay or check out early; please understand that you will be charged for your entire reservation.
Travel cancellation or interruption insurance is available from many reputable insurance companies which provide that coverage. One supplier of this type of insurance is American Express, but many more can be found on the Internet.
Guests must present a valid credit card and valid form of identification upon check-in. Minimum age to register for a room is 21.
Check-in Policy – Check-in time is 3 pm. If you plan to arrive before this time, please call 706-782-4444 to make arrangements with our front desk. If you are arriving after 8 PM, please contact us directly so we can provide you with detailed late check-in instructions.
Check-out Policy – Check-out time is 11 am. If you require a later check-out, please contact the front desk 24 hours prior to departure and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Pet Policy – Pets are not allowed. A fee of $200 will be applied to your bill if a pet is found. “Service dogs” are allowed with proper documentation.
Children Policy – The White Birch Inn strongly encourages an adult atmosphere. Children 14 years and older are welcome.
Smoking Policy – The White Birch Inn is a smoke-free environment. Smoking is not allowed in any rooms, public areas or outdoor areas associated with the property. A fee of $200 will be applied to your bill if smoke is detected.
ADDITIONAL CHARGES FOR EXCESSIVE DEBRIS/SOIL. If it comes to the attention of Hotel Management that a guest room is excessively dirty (to the standards of hotel management), Guest shall be responsible for an assessed Excessive Cleaning Fee. Guest will also be required to vacate to property without regard to refund. Fees will be assessed to the credit card on file and a detailed invoice will be completed.
